Hmm...

I spend a lot of time looking at other blogs, I think things to post, I even make up posts while I'm doing other things... I just don't think about doing it while I'm on the computer.

My little M has learned to crawl... kind of. She does an army crawl type of thing. She still is pretty cute.

Right now my sister is in town and my husband is out of town. We have had fun playing. M loves her cousins. My dad came over yesterday and played with my little nephew while M watched from her high chair (she's not a big grass fan yet). She was laughing and loving it.

She really took to Grandpa too. She is in Stranger Danger mode... but I think this helped: Every morning (and after every nap) when I pick her up from her crib we walk to the changing table and open the blinds. She looks at her reflection in the display shelf glass, looks out the window, then looks for the picture of Grandma & Grandpa. We do the signs for them and she takes the picture. She laughs at it and tries to eat it while I change her. I think it is pretty sweet.

I don't blog much about myself. I don't have much to say, I suppose. M is a bit more interesting in my opinion. I don't lead a very exciting life. I'm working on fixing up the kitchen right now. I have kind of taken a break since my sister is here. I'm a little burnt out on all of the mudding and taping that is remodeling. For those who don't know, when you put up or patch dry wall you are supposed to "mud" it. The mud is really joint compound. You put a little of it in a dish type thing, add a tiny amount of water, take a spackle knife (about 9" long) and spread it along the joints. You are also supposed to put some "tape" up along the joints. After it dries you sand it down and do it again. I think I did the kitchen wall about 5 times before it looked good enough to prime it. I'm working on a different wall now. I really don't like the sanding part because the product of this is a very fine coat of white dust covering the entire house. Fantastic. The results are nice, though.

Wall is beautiful! You have done a very nice job, J! I'm so proud of you.
M is beautiful! And so cute. Thanks for reminding her of her grandparents. We love to stay in her life, even if we don't get to see her very often.
You are Beautiful. Thanks for the wonderful post.
love you, sweet Daughter,

I agree with Annie, you house is beautiful, and M more so...

You know, I don't think that many of us think that we are particularly interesting. We are so close to our own lives that we can't imagine anyone being interested in them. But I think you are interesting, and like to see your blogs - your latest project, and also the new of M or C, or you. Leading a quiet life is not at all the same as leading and uninteresting life. So, thanks for taking the time to blog from time to time.
