Dorothy

Dorothy is M's Cabbage Patch Doll she got for Christmas. She has been a friend from the beginning. She came in overalls and a little blouse with socks, shoes, and a binky. Since Christmas, we have basically taken Dorothy everywhere. Her binky has been broken (twice) and lost on many occasions. We have been able (with help) to secure a wardrobe for her and several blankets, a bed, a high chair, and even a doll. M loves it.

Recently, with the help of a newly made outfit (thanks Mom), we have discovered Dorothy has a bum. The pants we made for her were nice and tight around the waist and she ends up getting pantsed. So the other day I look over and she had pulled down the pants and diaper and was pointing to Dorothy's little butt crack and giggling. I think she thought it was similar to her belly button (another favorite body part) because she was laughing the same. So I told her, "That is Dorothy's bum." Of course she now starts laughing and saying bum. She loves the Xavier Roberts tattoo that authenticates the doll. My husband is a little worried that she'll want a similar tattoo when she's 4. At least it sounds exotic, right?

Well, Now Dorothy and M are environmentally minded, as she now has a cloth diaper, which I finished yesterday.
She is such a darling little girl. I'm so glad you came to visit.

Cute! Kollette has Mr. Muggles, and lately has become so attached that she won't even shower without him. So he gets sent through the washer on the spin cycle to get him dry. I really need to teach her that shower with your boyfriend isn't okay to do....
