We finally have tile in our bathroom. Truth be told, we have had it there for about 2 weeks now, but I just haven't gotten around to writing. Honestly, our computer is in the hottest room of the house and sitting down for even 10 minutes seems like torture. Now, for the bathroom, we just need to install the parts of the ceiling we ripped out. We are supposed to do that today. It's going to be toasty.
Yesterday was pretty fun. We went to my brother-in-law's house and played Rock Band. I really liked it more than Guitar Hero. Probably because I was playing bass, so I could just hide in the background and nobody noticed if I messed up. Then we went to a BBQ at my sister-in-law's place, and she had a few other families over. Once everybody was fed we headed to the park to play baseball. I couldn't really play. I'm a little bulky right now. After that my husband & I were both pretty tired and instead of battling the crowds, we opted out of fireworks and watched a movie instead. All in all it was an OK day.
One more random note...
I work with the craziest girl. Truthfully she reminds me of Professor Umbridge. Not in looks... she isn't short and squat like a toad, but she is mean and nasty and always wears pink. She thinks that she knows everything about everything. Trying to train her was like trying to take down a brick wall with a nail file. Bleh! She'll be syrupy sweet to your face, but won't hesitate to stab your back, especially if it makes her look better. She always hints that she knows all of these "secret plans" for our clinic, but she won't tell anyone because it's "top secret". She has the strangest parenting styles, including finding it humerus when her 3 year old boy says the F-word. She will only buy him really expensive name brand clothes. She lets him stay up late to watch Grey's Anatomy.... I could go on, but I'll spare you. Basically picture Professor Umbridge and take away the part where she was deliberately put into power and add an office manager who is too chicken to fire her (mostly because he is kissing up to a new doctor we hired... even though the doctor doesn't really like her, I think). Yeah, that is what I go to work to every day. The whole thing is a mess. I'm glad I only have about 19 days left of working full time.

Happy 5th. Glad your 4th was good. We had a fun one with S2 and fam, and S3. DIL3 went to Arizona for 10 days.
Sorry about the hard times at work. Glad you don't have to work full-time anymore.
xxoo

Yeah, Happy 5th. And happy 'only 19 days more' (but who is counting?) We had a good time with your S2,S3 etc. Fireworks were pretty good.... I think that they have budget constraints as the early morning bombardment was pretty short. We gave the crash up derby a pass.
Julie, the comments about the nameless co-worker are hilarious. I was honestly surprised to see that she was still there when I came back. Ha ha....not for long. I hope you are doing well and actually get a chance to read this.
