Tile Trouble

Well, the bathroom wall is up. It has actually been up for a few weeks now. We can no longer see from the kitchen through the bathroom and into the bedroom. It makes talking to my husband a lot harder when he is in another room. Its strange how quickly I became accustomed to the ease of communicating through the walls. The next project is tile.

Earlier this year we went to a ward auction (for the YM/YW) and bid on the service of a tile guy in the silent auction they had. We paid like $50 for a guy to tile our bathroom. Now as you may have guessed, our bathroom was not quite ready for this, but the guy said he was moving in Aug. so we figured we'd have it ready by then. Later on my husband became this family's home teacher and learned that they had almost moved to Virgina a month prior. Crap. So, we expedited our bathroom project. So, we are finally ready for the tile. Now we learn that we will be 3-4 days without a toilet. This poses a slight problem since we only have one... and I'm 8 months pregnant. I don't quite know how this will work. It's not like I can just use a bottle or the back yard or something. Luckily we have a 24/7 Smith's down the road and also a 7/11 that's a little bit closer, but a lot grosser. Needless to say I'm a little anxious about this. This kid is not getting any smaller. I have had several offers for training toilets, though. Eww.

Yikes! Come stay with us for a few days!! We would love to have you. You could camp out in the 'good' bathroom.

You were too young to remember the plumbing problems that we had on the farm which put the toilet periodically out of service for a while. So I dug an outhouse pit in one of the outbuildings. That was where your sister got locked in and in her terror used the whole of her 3 year old strength to rip through a will made of corrugated fiberglass roofing.
