I can't believe it has been 2 months already! I took M in for her 2 month well child check. Everything is going well for her. She weighed in at 10 lbs 10 oz (in the 43%), is now 23.2 inches (84%), and has a head circumference of 39.8 in (78%). She started out at 7 lbs 8 oz, 20.5 in, and head circumference of 36 in (I think...). She got her shots, and I have never heard her cry like that before. It was pretty sad. She is a sad girl today. She has pretty much slept since we got home.

She is a very smiley girl and seems like she is on the verge of laughing. I think she is working on the mechanics of it. When she gets really happy she coos a little and looks surprised about it. It's pretty cute.

I start work on Monday, but thankfully I'll only be working one day a week. I'm still not too excited to go back, but it will be nice to get out every week.
Well that is about all that is new. Thanks for reading... feel free to leave a comment now and then. :)

Don't you just hate taking them in for their shots?
You start Monday? I thought it was Wednesdays. Who is watching her?

I cannot believe it has been 2 months already either! Funny how fast time goes postpartum compared to before.

What a pretty little thing she is.... you might be able to get her up into a higher weight percentile with a little Blueberry Buckle, and absent that, strawberry jam. :)

Ignore the blueberry buckle comment from your crazy father!
What a doll! Keep up the good work there, J. I know it'll be hard to leave her one day a week, but getting out of the house will make such a difference in how you feel.

she is a doll. I'm excited for you to start work too..even though I'll never see you. Just so you know you are never ready, I didn't want to go back either, but of course I'm glad I did. keep posting and hopefully I'll see you soon.

I can't believe it has been 2 months already. You will never like leaving her, but at the same time it is great to get out of the house and talk with adults for a bit, even if you have to see Carolyn. he he he
