We Love the Bunny

We got this cute little bunny toy at one of the baby showers (thanks to the Pond girls!) and just recently Emily has been very interested in it. She'll sit there and stare at it for hours. It is darling to watch. I started out just setting it down in front of her and she seemed interested. Now it seems to calm her down when she is getting fussy.

In other news, she had a really goopy eye so I took her to the doctor and they said she had a blocked tear duct. You can kind of see all the goop in here eye in the picture on the left.

We went to Elko again for my husband's work. It is about a 3 1/2 hour drive, but we always forget the time difference. So we ended up leaving about an hour earlier than we needed to and we were wondering what we were going to do with this extra hour. We were coming down a hill and almost ran into the underside of a car. It had rolled across the median and was blocking the fast lane. It must have only happened about 5 minutes before we arrived because someone was just calling 911. So we pulled over to see if they needed any help. The lady was 70 and had diabetes and had fallen asleep at the wheel. Luckily the first person on the scene was a fireman/paramedic and the next person was an RN. It was so crazy, though. The lady was pretty lucky. She was conscious the whole time. They had to bust in the windshield to pull her out. It took about 30 min (maybe?) for the paramedics to get there. I ended up not really helping because M started crying. Anyway, that was defiantly the most eventful road trip.

how sweet is she?
I am so glad that someone else didn't go over the hill and hit your car or you all out there trying to help. How scary~
I remember you getting this at the shower. Who was it that wanted me to try to make one?

Wow, that was pretty wild! Yikes! What a trip - I am glad you guys were wide awake and didn't add to the pile.

What a cute little one you have! How strange it is that even when little like that, they like shapes like bunnies. I would just about bet she would cry if you set a big, hairy, fake spider down beside her. Even if it was really soft and nice. OK, you don't have to worry about me actually ever doing that, it was just a speculation.

That was definitely the most _____ (what?) road trip... scariest?? So sorry that M had a goopy eye/blocked tear duct, i couldn't even tell from the picture... that little girl just takes my breath away!! The other day i was in the shower... i know, weird of all places, but i started singing to myself, "You are so motorful.... to me!" I couldn't help laughing at myself! Love you honey!!
